My name is Keshav Mohankumar. I am a proficient Carnatic classical violinist, willing to teach students who are excited to learn. I am a B-HIGH graded artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan. I have been practicing violin since 2009. Along I am a regular performer in various concerts in and accross the state.
I have performed in National music concert series and for international embassies. Currently I am a recipient of M S Subbulakshmi fellowship from Shanmukhananda sabha, Mumbai(2022). Apart from my classical music career, I am a music composer too.

My teaching style comprises of various finger flexibility and sliding exercises composed on my own. It helps students in later stages of learning. I does combinations of different patterns in all the basic lessons followed in the traditional music system. Also in the later stages of learning, my teaching will be based on instrumental style and I train on how to adopt the slides or the gamakas in various ragas. My focus will be purely on strengthening the basics, in order to ensure a good foundation. Training in basics comprises of various self made techniques and exercises, which I also practice everyday without fail. Hence, I can ensure a very happy music learning process, to all students who are willing to learn
