I love to find new ways to differentiate my lessons, activities and assessments so that I can connect with all my students. I always use a student interest survey geared towards learning styles and preferences, which helps me learn about the needs of my students. With this information, I can better develop activities and introduce concepts that fit with my students' unique educational needs.Students sometimes face challenges when learning new concepts. I also use 10 minutes at the beginning of every class to answer questions about the previous day's concepts and review complex topics. I also make sure my students know I am always available to help them.Some of my greatest strengths are that I’m very energetic and patient. I lean on these qualities heavily while I’m tutoring. I think my energy helps keep students engaged and motivated with the material, and my patience allows them to move at their own learning pace comfortably. My main areas of expertise is tutoring in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. I have also had some experience tutoring geography and history for high school students.
