Teaching is my passion along with creative writing. During my journey as a teacher, I have taught students from lower primary to Postgraduates gaining a wonderful experience in interaction, understanding student psychology and their needs based on their age group. The feedback I receive even today makes me proud to be a teacher.
My experience with students right from primary till postgraduates help me empathize with their abilities, limitations and level of understanding. I have always strived to provide guidance instead of monopolizing the interaction of teaching. Individual attention based on students' prowess gives me a better opportunity to help the students as per their requirements.
As a creative writer right from my teens till now I have grown into a better human being and gained a wide arena of readers. My writing skills began with poetry, have even published a book of poems and many more have been published in various national/international journals and anthologies. Have won a few competitions too. Then I began writing articles and academic/non-academic essays which have been published in various national/international journals and books. I have even ventured into blogs and content writing with a generous flow of clientele/readers.
As a reader, it is like my second skin, can't imagine myself without something. I was and am called a bookworm. Fortunately, my reading skills/hobby has gained me a vast knowledge base that my students enjoy and reflect on.
It has landed me clientele for editing and proofreading as well. Have edited a few theses along with being a ghostwriter too.
My greatest asset is my hunger for learning. I am a student in that aspect in every hour of my life both personal and professional. I believe a person who stops learning cannot claim to teach anyone or perform as deserved to.
