I am Thejaswini, and by profession I am a linguist. On TeacherOn, I am offering private tuition in English language (especially as a second or third language), Telugu language (irrespective of level of competency on the part of the student), Telugu literature and translation, and core and applied linguistics (particularly but not restricted to higher secondary levels and above).   • Teaching Assistant for Undergraduate courses in Language and Linguistics (Jun, 2018–Dec, 2018) at School of Language, Literature and Cultural Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi
    I was involved in planning, organising, implementing and facilitating an undergraduate course titled "Introduction to Sociolinguistics". As part of the project I was required to design the syllabus, keeping in mind the abilities, aptitude and interest of the students. Additionally, I have designed assignments, quizzes and examinations for assessing students' skill-acquisition and critical thinking.

    I put in an enormous amount of effort into preparing for my classes, irrespective of what course I am teaching. The variation in my expertise explains the variability of my fee structure. However, I am open to some negotiation with my students, given that education is not equally accessible for everyone.
