Dear Students,
This is Shyam. I have many years of research (8 years) and teaching (2 years) experience in mathematics. I love to teach complex mathematical concepts to students. I use diagrams and figures to simplify the concepts. For example, if I will teach calculus to students I will use MATLAB or maple to demonstrate the concept of continuity of a function of two variables. It will help students to understand the concept and further, it will help them to solve a problem. Thanks and looking forward to the teaching.

  • Post doctoral researcher (Feb, 2019–Present) at Universidade Federal de Rural de Rio de Janeiro
    Currently, I am working as a postdoctoral researcher in a Postgraduate program for mathematical and computational modeling at, Federal University of Rural of Rio de Janeiro, Seropedica, Brazil. I am involved in different research projects related to the area of biomathematics. I work as a principal investigator of undergoing projects in dengue research. I also worked on the modeling of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Apart from my research, I am also passionate about teaching. I have taught two-semester courses on “Mathematical modeling of population dynamics” to a group of master students.
