I am a certified IELTS trainer from The British Council and a certified PTE trainer from Pearson. I also hold a certification of TEFL from AAEFL. Besides I am a certified Career Counsellor too.

I conduct private one-on-one classes for IELTS and PTE as I believe they give the students a more focused and rewarding experience. Each of my classes is of one-hour duration and conducted every alternate day during which students are given home assignments to be completed. The classes are customized based on each student's needs and preferences.

The syllabus for my IELTS classes is tailored to the Cambridge model. The PTE classes and courses are based on the Pearson model. Through classwork, homework and practice exams, I routinely evaluate the student's progress and knowledge. All my lectures are conducted through PowerPoint presentations. My strategy puts the emphasis on the student, who "gets to speak more than the teacher." This helps me gain insight into the student's knowledge and determine the areas of improvement to achieve a higher band score.

I am also a certified career counsellor. Through engaging workshops, I offer career advice to both professionals and students. International Standardized Tests, personality assessments, and one-on-one discussions are used to conduct these sessions.

I offer counselling services to both professionals and students. The sessions give professionals a clear job choice as well as clarity for students' futures. My previous corporate experiences are crucial in influencing young minds. My prior management experience gives me organizational insight into many corporate organizations, and it also enables me to offer counselling and direction to people, assisting them in identifying their key talents and potential career advancement paths. The way the sessions are run is intended to give students clarity on the academic path they should take, in order to ensure successful growth in their futures.

Excellent IELTS Teacher

I have done two sessions with Sarmistha Ganguly and have had an excellent experience learning from her. I found her to be very intelligent, professional and disciplined. She only figured out which area I needed to work on in one session. She also provides excellent resources on IELTS. Highly recommend her.
