Hello! I’m Joy, a certified and licensed professional teacher with 5 years experience both online and offline teaching. I have a Bachelors Degree of Secondary Education Major in English. I have taught students of various nationalities like Koreans, Chinese, Turkish, Ukrainian, Indian, and Italian. Teaching students with different nationalities makes me excited to explore and learn another culture while sharing my skills in English.

In regard to teaching, I specialize in English grammar, pronunciation in Neutral/American accent, and vocabulary. I will also focus on helping my students improve in different areas of English language skills like listening, speaking, reading, comprehension, and writing. I conduct interesting English classes from kindergarten to adults. To my adults students, I usually offer free-talking classes and correct their errors along the way as well as giving them feedback of their improvements. I also help students prepare for exams in English specially for IELTS, TOEFL, etc. I also do proofreading for books and articles.

My teaching style is adoptive to the students’ type of learning. I have a passion in art so some of my teaching materials are originally hand drawn and prepared artistically. I can also teach art class for beginners. I can turn my class into some musical lessons for auditory type of learners as I am musically inclined. I can also talk about literature for students who love English literature. I don’t provide tasks that can give stress to my students as meaningful learning is my priority.

I will be very glad to share my teaching expertise to those who like to have class with me. I’ll do all my best to provide an exciting and interesting lessons for my students.
