Ms. Nikitha conducted the class in a professional yet friendly manner making my you daughter feel at ease. She seems like an enthusiastic and passionate teacher. We opted for this classes last week and our Demo class experience is really good. Teacher is quite professional, engaged all the 45 minutes of the class time. Entire class was thought with shruti. Thank you. This school is highly recommended for new joiners and beginners

I am Ritu Kumar and I was looking for music classes for my daughter, was contacted by Mr T. Vinod Kumar, who explained everything in so much detail at the very first conversation and made me comfortable with the complete process. Being on a very busy schedule, most of the time, I could not follow up on time, but Mr Vinod maintained so much decorum that he kept sending me reminders but in such a way that I never felt pressurized. When it came to demo, I had first demo with one teacher and being from a non music background, I won't be the right person to comment anything about teacher's knowledge but my daughter was not very comfortable, so after explaining the situation to Mr. Vinod, He right away scheduled another demo wit a different teacher without asking too many questions. The demo class was with Ms Nikitha and it went very well. Ms. Nikitha did show lot of affection during the class with my daughter, at times she tried to come to my daughter's pace and during the demo itself, she kept listening and suggesting Arya if she needed to make any change the way she is singing but all in a fun way which a kid likes very much. I'll know more about her and institute more when my daughter starts her lession, but overall experience has been very good. Ms. Nikitha has good voice and lot of patience to listen to kid and making changes as per kid's needs.

I loved the Demo class and have signed up for regular classes. Bala sir showed me the various lesson that I will go through during the normal session and the progress I'd make in a few weeks with regular practice. He also played a few classical and non-classical songs which could be a good distraction around regular classes. Overall, it was a pleasing experience. Was intriguing enough for me to jump in and explore further ! Totally recommend it

I used to learn Carnatic music as a child and as it happens with a lot of us life got in the way and music took a backseat. For a long time now I have been wanting to start again but somehow it never happened. I chanced upon Carnatic gurukulam and made the call. I spoke to Vinodh Sir for alomost 20 minutes voicing my inhibitions about starting again, online classes etc. He patiently put my concerns to rest and fixed a trial class with Rama Murali ma’am. I don’t regret my decision. 6 months later I am steadily progressing in my music lessons under the guidance of the ever patient, ever smiling and ever encouraging Guru - Rama Murali ma’am. Also unlike most other people who would think a young baby is a distraction or an irritant, she considers my daughter her youngest student. Professional teacher

My daughter is aged 10 and learning music from Aishwarya Teacher. She is a very kind and friendly teacher.

She is very flexible in terms of timings, which is definitely something to applaud, as being in different time zones always poses a big challenge for online classes. But, the teacher handles it well. She is also able to understand the child’s mood and tries to motivate her all the time. Her patience with teaching my kid is remarkable. I am seeing a great progress in my daughter’s singing. The teacher points out any mistakes she makes and tries to fix them. My child has developed a passion for Carnatic music. Credit goes to Carnatic Gurukulam.

I would strongly recommend Carnatic Gurukulam, for any prospective Carnatic leaner irrespective of age and gender. The Gurukulam, has recently come up with an open mic YouTube live session organised by Mr. Vinod. This is really motivating for the kids and gives a scope to get rid of stage fear, and makes them better.

My daughter, 8 years old had a very good initiative to carnatic music through demo class. The journey started with a conversation headed by Mr.Vinod Kumar and scheduled a demo class for my daughter with telugu speaking music teacher Ramya Srivallika. The class started on time, punctual. My 2 boys (5 and 9) have been taking music lessons from Miss Harini (Carnatic Gurukulam) for almost 8 months now. Both love Miss Harini and wait eagerly for their lessons. As I mentioned in my previous review, the lessons are well-laid out and the teacher is extremely punctual. In my honest opinion, Miss Harini goes above and beyond in instilling a love for music in my children. My older son did a live performance, a few months back and EVERY child performed beautifully. My son is in this school learning to play various instruments. Mr. Vinod was very patient and persistent in finding good teachers for him. Mr. Sarathdas (violin), Mr. Sudeesh Warrier (flute), and Mr. Ratheesh (piano/ keyboard) are excellent teachers. They are very patient and are available to clarify doubts at any time. They also accommodate our convenience for class hours. My son and we are very happy with this program.

Hi All , Its been a very long search of finding a proper guru for myself and my kids which has finally ended up in Carnatic Gurukulam. Have been changing classes for couple of years , being a working mother in Bangalore , tried all ways prior , be it having a home tutor, online class but really nothing helped us , as they were all neither regular nor followed a curriculum not had a set goal for the students. After joining CG , it was the exactly what I had been searching for throughout so many years , regular, disciplined, curriculum based training for Vocal and Veena class. Am extremely happy that even during lockdown myself and my kids are not only learning a new skill but also getting them evaluated consistently. I started my classes with Carnatic Gurukulam, headed by Vinod. The first conversation with him gave me the confidence I could start my Vocals journey with this school. He explained the approach clearly as to what the syllabus would be and how it's structured for absolute beginners like me. I'm being trained by a music teacher in my mother tongue so it's made comfortable and easy to understand the lessons. My teacher Krishna Bhavana is very patient and professional. It's a one-on-one class for me. I am done with almost 9 classes now and I feel I'm learning at good pace and very eager for the next class. Great choice for students who can't make it to in-person classes.

I have been learning from Vinod Sir’s Carnatic Gurukulam for 8 months now. The experience has been fantastic so far. Their curriculum provides you with a glimpse of what to expect.
