I am a professionally trained and experienced teacher of Economics, Business Studies, and Accounting. I believe in the uniqueness of every learner, and therefore, my teaching style is primarily learner-centered. I always strive to use learning material that not only makes learning interesting, but also challenges learners to think beyond the basics and derive new knowledge.

I'm highly passionate about tutoring and making a difference in each of my student's life. This inspired me to start an online tutoring platform, ALYA Learning Center (ALC), where I teach and manage a team of tutors teaching all the subjects in the IGCSE, IB, IGCSE, and CBC curriculums among others.

One of the things that make me a great teacher is that I have gained extensive knowledge and skills in the field through teaching learners pursuing different curriculums. These include IGCSE, A-Level, and 8-4-4, among other internationally recognized curriculums. I have also taught at the college level for over five years.

Moreover, I invest in continuous learning in my teaching areas. I possess a Bachelors of Education Arts degree (Economics and Business Studies) and a Master of Business Administration (Finance). Currently, I am working towards completing my PhD in Finance. With my vast knowledge of my core subjects and experience in the teaching field, I have helped learners improve their grades, and develop mastery and interest in the subjects that I teach. In this context, I have won the trust of my students, and I believe that I have a lot to offer to my new learners.
