I recently completed my Master degree in renewable energy where my focus is in mechanical energy storage as well as machine design, energy balance, power transmutation. I have always been fascinated by mechanical energy storage due to its huge potential and easy scalability with no toxic material as chemical batteries, and I chose flywheel energy storage as a project and I kept my belong to thermodynamics .
Throughout my master degree, I made a deep technical literature about mechanical elements which form my set including bearings, vacuum bumps, superconductor materials. I used solidworks for mechanical drawing, and achieving FEA to find von mises stress on flywheel disk. In implementation state I was so excited in hands-on experience through parts assembling and I built a friendship with overseas vendors who I dealt with to buy the electric motor. I chose the Arduino Uno chip to drive the control circuit of electric motor and the current and voltage signals were record in real time for later analysis.

As a teaching assistant in( renewable energy) and (Equipment and Vehicles) departments, I -for five years -was responsible of training courses in (Thermodynamics, Steam and Gas power plants) where experimental problems were solved and deep attention were considered in efficiency analysis for combined cycles. For three years, I was responsible of experimental courses in (HVAC, Cryogenic) where my mission was explaining temperatures, enthalpy- entropy charts . for two years i supervised the students in preparing their semester projects in Home Heating and Thermal Insulation course, and weekly workshop were organized to applying and linking the ideas of heat transfer subject, and discussing the economic benefit of thermal insulation .
On the other hand I regularly have my students gain more study materials by workshop training as well as conducting scientific trips to the Tartous cement factory. Where each part of the factory where demonstrated and energy losses from the kiln was referred. And boilers unites were explained in real life. For tow year I worked as Laboratory Research Assistant in renewable energy, where I was guiding and assisting engineering students in conducting different electrical tests.
