I have 9 years of teaching O and A level History and Sociology across various top schools in Islamabad. I got my MA in Anthropology from Columbia University on a Fulbright scholarship, and BSc in Social Sciences from LUMS. Given my academic background, I have a strong command of the syllabus content for these subjects. Over the years, several of my students have achieved top grades in these subjects, and I have a good understanding of exam needs. I aim to make my classes engaging, activity and discussion/debate based, and student centred so individual needs could be addressed. I also spend time on developing writing, argumentation, and critical thinking skills in class that are essential for the essay-oriented exams at this level.
