Hello, my name is Seun, a certified TEFL teacher. I am a Nigerian, and I speak English and Yoruba. I have been a teacher in elementary, middle and high school for over 7 years. I teach English Language, Literature in English, and public speaking skills. I love to write. I write college essays, articles, academic papers, newsletters, short stories and poetry.
Teaching gives me life, it keeps my brain alert and it is fun. I form a bond with my students. I will share one interesting experience I had with you. I lost my father and was away from the classroom for about two weeks. Some of my students wrote consolation letters to me. My students wrote letters with organisation, and mechanical accuracy; it was a proud teacher moment for me. My classes are usually interactive, and I expect active participation in classroom discussions from my students.
In my class, I hope to have a respectful and cordial student-teacher relationship with you. I shall listen and respond to your concerns. I also expect to cultivate your passion for learning by giving and receiving constructive criticisms and feedback on your work. I also hope that I can be an inspiration to you and affirm the fact that you can achieve your goals. I constantly learn from students because learning never stops.
To my potential student, join me on this learning journey. You will be glad to have me as your teacher. Thank you.
