I am a dentist with 9 years of experience teaching students from elementary to university level. I come from a family of educationists & am very passionate about teaching. I taught anatomy, neuroscience and operative dentistry to undergraduate students, and Biology & Science to students in secondary and High School. I believe that every student can benefit from one-on-one attention and is different, hence I tailor my lessons accordingly so I can provide the maximum benefit to my students and help them learn by creating a learning environment that supports the student’s needs & talents.
I prepare well organized topics according to the curriculum using variety of modern aid & techniques. Using the rule of 3Ds - direct, discuss & delegate, I start with the basic knowledge the students have and explain in simple manner for their understanding. Next I try to discuss & communicate with students to understand how much has been grasped & identify the problem areas. Assignments are given to engage them in thoughtful & challenging work. Lastly, I conclude the lesson with a recap, reinforcing what is important & addressing to their queries.
