I graduated from Baku Engineering University in Baku, Azerbaijan with an undergraduate degree in Biology Education, in May 2018. During my study years, I can proudly say a fact that my GPA is around of 96 out of 100. To be one of the excellent students with almost “A” grades from every single taken course during 8 semesters in Biological Science is not so easy, but I successfully accomplished this task with self-confidence and pride.
After graduating, I worked at Idrak Lyceum as a Biology and Science teacher for grade 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th during 2018-2019 education years.
I have been working as a Biology and Science teacher and getting experience with 5th, 6th, 9th and 10th grade students at Baku Oxford School since October 2019. I can proudly say that last year my students took IGCSE Biology exams, and got A and B from extended part, C and D from core part.
When it comes to my strategies, which are implemented during the lessons, I can say that for each lesson, I prepare a PPT or Prezzi. First, I explain what we will learn during the lesson (learning objectives). Then, students take notes (key definition, diagrams, and important parts). After explaining the topic, students are provided with the worksheets. They do their worksheets in a given time. Duration of time varies according to the level of worksheets and number of questions. When time is up, we start checking all the questions, and discuss the mistakes. Depending on topics, we also watch videos and solve the questions on different platforms (quizziz, kahoot, edpuzzle, jeopardy). After each chapter, my studets take an exam, and I consistently contact with parents about students’ academic progress.

    For middle school students (Science) one hour is 50 azn. For High school students (Biology grade 9 and 10) one hour is 70 azn.
