Hi,
I am a language tutor with 7+ years of experience. I have an M.A, M.Ed., M.Phil. and a Ph.D. in English. I can handle Language and Literature, Creative Writing, Academic Writing, Essay Writing, (Narrative, Descriptive, Informative, and Persuasive) Business Writing, Linguistics, Stylistics, Translation [Tamil-English], Research Methodology and Education. Besides, I'm a certified IELTS Trainer, and I provide communication classes from the scratch.
As an educator, I believe in democratic education, and I choose 'chaining'- which involves the step by step comprehension, as my method.
I generally believe Grammar Translation Method. However, I am comfortable with the Direct method too.
I do not follow any definite syllabus. I'll let you know your strengths and needs first. Based on the analysis, we can take up the remedial classes.
Grammar and Vocabulary are my special areas. I can turn anyone into a Grammar Nazi [or at least my students can face any professionals with courage].
I handle classes for the international students and professionals. I'm more comfortable with Cambridge IGCSE, GCSE, NAPLAN [Narrative, Descriptive, Informative, Persuasive Writing] PSAT, SAT, IELTS, PTE, and University courses [related to English Language and Literature].
