To me teaching is all about the 3Cs - Connection, Communication and Compassion. It’s essential to connect and build a rapport with your student. Communication is absolutely key and when a student needs extra support and may be feeling somewhat challenged it’s important to have compassion for them throughout their process.

My aim is to meet a student where they are at and bring them to where they can be so I see my role as a facilitator in helping them reach their full potential.
I believe every student has that spark of potential inside of them and by providing the right environment, conditions, resources and supports hopefully I can help them to reignite that spark inside them, boosting their confidence so they can walk that path to their own success, whatever that means to them
