I teach using the student centered method where the student develops their style and progress through their creativity and passion. Language is an art taught through communication, dedication, and understanding. Building the student's desire is number one focus, because desire breeds outcome, and outcome feeds desire. It is the cycle that allows the student to grow and to love what they are doing. Studying is not always fun, but including aspects of fun learning is key to allowing the student to experience the wide horizon of information retention. This experience is what will allow them to excel and want to keep excelling. The outcome of learning to me is not only with grades. It is with the love of learning and the interest to step outside the box. Teaching is about helping the student view different perspectives of things. It is allowing their mind to think on its own rather than follow what they are told. Life skills should be applied in learning because these skills are what are needed in life. Skills such as widening the horizon of thought, problem solving and decision making. All those will allow the student to take what they learn and apply it to any upcoming year and experience they go through.
