It is my honor to share to every one of you, everything that makes me the best version of myself.
I am Nicole Dagohoy, 23, a teacher and a graduate of Bachelors of Secondary Education Major in Filipino at one of the prestigious state university in the Philippines especially in Engineering courses, the Batangas State University The National Engineering University. I am not just typical student and person because aside from being a consistent honor student which make me graduated Salutatorian in Elementary, with High Honors in High School and a consistent Deans lister in College. I know how to balance to make my life the most of it. I am an active student leader ever since. Also, I joined different extracurricular activities like sports which is the badminton.
I am an awardee as well in different aspect like in leadership, research and community immersion. Everything that I’ve done, I make sure that this was with quality and love. I already presented different research paper, I also become part of a newspaper writing in our section, I make a lot of video as well related to what I taught during my teaching internship.
I also attended different seminar, webinar and trainings related to communication, leadership, teaching, mental health, entrepreneurship and others. I can say that one thing that make me who I am today, is that school or being a student has a big contribution. But, I am aware also that not everything we need to know can be found at school because the real challenges can be experienced outside the four corners of our rooms. That is why while studying I decided to have some part time job, I become a service crew and cashier, I do tutorial and online business as well during pandemic. I want to immersed myself to the real scenario of life for me to understand the world better. And, I cannot deny the fact that these experiences bring me to another dimension of understanding and acceptance. I become aware to other people’s live and how they deal and trying to survive their everyday living.
