My name is Priyankara, Ph.D in Ancient History at Jadavpur University. presently I am working as a History and civics teacher at Pathfinder CBSE department. As a Researcher at Jadavpur University, I have experience in teaching graduate and post-graduate students as well. before enrolling myself as a Research Scholar, I had 12 years of teaching experience as an Abacus Teacher and also as a primary and Secondary level teacher in ICSE affiliated school. I am also proficient in doing private tuitions for UPSC, WBCS students who opted for history as their optional paper. Apart from History I also taught subjects like Geography, Bengali etc. As a Secondary level teacher, I do take the utmost care to make sure that the students understand the subject thoroughly. it is very important to make the subject fascinating through visual displays and presentations so that the students get interested in the same. In teaching, it is very important to develop a bond with the student first. I believe it is very essential to do so through extensive discussions. I like to explain the subject thoroughly so that the students understand the topic. If there are any doubts, the same should get cleared; the next will be to solve the questions, and re-weld the matter. After that, I discuss the possible questions on the subject so that the whole topic gets drilled into the mind of the student.
