While there are no set rules or formulas to simplify literature lessons, there is one basic principle that would help any student and that is - literature = life, i.e, literature is always about life. So, if the students want to understand literature, they would have to become good observers and listeners.
From here onwards I'll happily support them; apart from explaining the crux, background and underlying meaning, I will make sure the student is confident to answer any question related to the topic.
Every student is unique and learn at their own pace, that is why I alter my teaching methods according to the student's evolving calibre.
I may use videos, articles, novels, films, etc., as examples to highlight a point for clarification. Revision will also be done in the class itself.
I will help in developing the student's potential in the subject, identify the roadblocks and suggest better solutions to the problems.
