I have a great passion for teaching human and animal physiology. I have the requisite experience that enables me to understand what my students need to grasp the various concepts in human and animal physiology. I combine didactic teachings with a problem-based learning approach. I adopt a teaching methodology where I use the lecture objectives to develop self-assessment and practice questions that help my students to correlate the objectives with the content of what they are able to learn. My power points are very precise, easy to understand, and illustrative. I also adopt a feedback review approach which allows me to work more closely with my students (on an individual basis) to provide assistance on previous topics taught before delving into new topics. I also maintain a teaching speed that helps students with different of comprehension to keep pace with the lecture without losing a significant amount of time. I encourage my students to explore and challenge themselves with good critical thinking and scientific reasoning to support their scientific thoughts.
