am a long serving teacher with a lot of experience having taught in both private and public schools.
teaching in private school gave an exposure on teaching environments with near ideal conditions. on the other hand teaching in remote places with the government exposed me to improvisition of teaching materials and methods.
i like a learner centred approach so that i move at the speed of the particular learner, celebrating every milestone my learner achieves.
am very friendly to my learners but very firm of the deliverables so that we achieve the desired results.
my joy is when my learner achieves his or her full potential
my most memorable time is when i got learners in a remote part of kenya could not read at grade 7. i exposed them to reading activities and within a period of two months they could read and even read aloud in class.
