Professional and knowledgeable tutor for Python and machine learning

Covers a lot of ground

Gaurav delivered what he promised, which is a complete overview of what R can offer. I had done MOOCs and tried several automatized courses. I'd do the requisite homeworks etc. and feel "ok, I got this" and quickly reach a plateau. When it came down to applying what I learned to my own datasets, however, I would then feel paralyzed and (incredibly) frustrated. Translating a faceless course (which felt straightforward) to real life was repeatedly a challenge: It was one thing to learn R online and another to apply it. By getting Gaurav's overview and, frankly, being able to ask (even stupid) questions as we went along, I realized that R has quirks and that -- like any language -- you have to work with them. Gaurav went through his well structured chapters and by the end I felt I was in a stronger position to attack my own datasets. I realized I needed to be patient with myself and power my way through it. I have made a lot of progress since Gaurav's course. I still have work to do to master R, but since his course I have been more determined than ever.
