Hello, my name is Natalia Szczepańska.

I am first year medicine student at Medical University of Gdansk in Poland. Last year I finished my IB with subjects: Biology, Chemistry and English on a higher level and Psychology, Maths Analysis and Approaches and Polish literature on standard level. I finished the course with the overall score of 44 out 45 points. Moreover, for the past six years I attended extracurricular maths classes, which allowed me to participate in mathematical competitions.

What is more, during high school I used to provide help with maths to my fellow classmates, which allowed me to gain new learning techniques. I consider understanding as key to learning, therefore, I always try to make sure that the student understands the topics, before memorising facts. I also try to make the student an active participant of lessons by asking questions, which helps memorise key concepts.

I am a native Polish speaker, but also I am proficient in English as not only have I completed the IB course taught in English, but also received grade A in Cambridge Advanced English exam.
