Hi there. My name is Humaira khatoon. I worked as Research Associate in HHP Berlin (Ingenieure für Brandschutz GmbH), Germany. My main tasks are mainly involved in the Fire Dynamic Simulator (CFD). Then, calculate the material properties for the projects and provided the result in the form of Python. I worked as a Research Assistant in a research project in Institute of Apparatus and Environmental Technology at Otto-Von-Guericke University. My tasks are designing the complex geometries with appropriate meshing in Ansys and simulating the flame flow behavior in OpenFOAM with FEM. I have designed and assembled the entire experimental setup of t-pipe to perform experiments. I also carry out experiments, consolidate technical data, generate reports and present the results to our Institute. For my master thesis I did the finite element modeling of complex geometries and analyzed the flame development in OpenFOAM and Paraview.
I had practical experience in the polymer industry with CHEMCAD and analyzed the trouble shooting of Cooling tower in polymer industry. I was also a certified OpenFOAM professional at my university. With the hands on 2 years of experience in Formulated Polymers and Tamilnadu Cements that I can manage high level Design and Modeling projects based on my solid understanding and use of FEM packages like Comsol Multiphysics, Ansys Plus, Star CCM+, OpenFOAM, CAD tools like AutoCAD. Apart from all these experiences, I have a sound theoretical knowledge in the concepts of FEM, CFD, modeling the process equipment by using HTRI, Aspen Plus, StarCCM+ and CHEMCAD from IAUT.
