The first thing a professor does is to get to know the type of students he has, and what exactly the student wants. Then he gets to know as much as possible the obstacles and qualifications alike. Integrating the student from a psychological and social perspective to determine the extent of the student’s response to the lessons, his surroundings, and the teacher. Diagnosing the student’s strengths as well as his weaknesses in order to deal with them later in a focused and directed pedagogical manner. As a personal experience, I can tell the student whether he likes the subject I am teaching him or not. As a teacher, I also benefit from pedagogical training courses provided by the Ministry of Education in coordination with the British institutes and the cultural prosecution affiliated with it.
