Hi, my name is Joann, you can call me Teacher Jo. My teaching styles and methods depend on every learner because I believe that everyone has a different learning style and pace. What I can assure you is that I am very compassionate, patient, and understanding and I enjoy teaching. We will have a fun adventure as we learn. Yes, you read it right, "we" because I also believe that as I teach I also learn a lot of things from my learners. My greatest skill as a teacher is that I listen, I listen to the needs of my learners, I listen to every situation and I listen to whatever my learners have to say.   • English Teacher (Aug, 2023–Nov, 2023) at Great Learnings and Technologies (GLATS) Online ESL Teacher
    English as a Second Language Teacher at all levels, Preschoolers, Elementary, High school, Young adults, and Professionals for Japanese Learners.
    I start my shift at 5 PM every day and end at 10 PM with 25mins per class and 5 mins assessment time. I have 10 learners every shift.
  • Tutor (Jan, 2020–Present) at Freelance Tutor General Santos City
    I started tutoring during the pandemic when distance learning was advised for the safety of the learners. I have taught all 8 subjects in elementary, I assist learners and help them understand their modules.
    I teach basic math and help them understand the concepts of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, but this does not limit my capabilities to teach higher mathematical skills.
    I also teach basic English, to young learners who are starting to read by introducing the alphabet sounds to those who are slow to fast readers who need guidance in comprehensive reading.
