I'm a scientist at heart and a passionate STEM advocate. I also like to think that I have a God-given talent as a teacher and possess the ability to explain things, both technical and non-technical, in a simplified language. I have over 8 years of experience as a teaching assistant in academia where I worked as a tutor and laboratory demonstrator in the physics department. I tutored a myriad of major and auxiliary physics courses (for science, engineering and health-sciences faculties) from first-to-third year and honours levels. I also have minor experience in teaching mathematics to grade 7-9 learners as a volunteer, and as an independent tutor for physics and engineering mathematics up to honours level (depending on the university). Personally, I'm a reserved person (introvert), shy but friendly at the same time with a dry sense of humor. Also am considerate of others and very patient. I believe that anything can be learnt if given the opportunity and right support. I hope I'll be the teacher away from the classroom that will complement your studies and meets your expectations.

Online lessons are charged differently from in-person services since there's no traveling required. Also, the lessons are charged according to the level of your grade at school or varsity. In general, primary-high school online lessons are charged between R70-R100 per hour. Whereas, in-person lessons for primary-high school learners vary between R170-R200 per hour. Varsity lessons are charged between R210-R270 and offered online unless the student is based within a 5km radius from my location or campus and also based on their preference.
