I recently completed my masters from IIT Madras in India and worked on applying machine learning to civil engineering for my masters. I am currently working as a machine learning engineer at a software company working on facial recognition systems. I have a strong background in math - calculus, probability as well as linear algebra. Apart from that, I have a sound understanding of mechanics and civil engineering as well. I try to understand things intuitively and clearly, which is what I try to pass on while explaining things along with making it interesting. Being an engineer, I also have a keen eye on the applications and practical use cases, which I try to connect my students with. I have had multiple experiences in teaching. Recently, I took a full day workshop on optimisation and machine learning at IIT Madras. And I was also a teaching assistant here for a graduate level course. I have had multiple students learning maths and machine learning So, I would love to share my knowledge because I genuinely believe that it increases by giving.
