Shruti Vaze PhD Student

I explain concepts lucidly by giving real life examples. My teaching style is different. I would like the student to understand the concept thoroughly rather then just understand it for answering the exams. So I spend most of time in concept building rather than problem solving. For problem solving I can teach them shortcut methods which are useful in competitive exams. I also teach the concepts by presenting visual cues as students grasp it better. As I am an Engineer by profession I have good knowledge about application of these concepts in real life situations.
As a volunteer I used to teach part time to high school kids near the slum area and 4 of the 10 students have cleared the Javahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Exam.

I have GRE scores: 318 Quant: 168 Verbal:150
TOEFL: 111
