I earned my B.A.-degree through studies at the University of Namibia/University of South Africa. My major subjects were Psychology 3, Geography 3, Afrikaans 2, Education 1 and Sociology 1. Besides my working experiences in Namibia, mainly as a teacher, where I was able to sharpen my skills in the soundest human relations, I have travelled extensively abroad, came across different cultures from which I was able to learn a lot. I was part of the training of US Peace Corps Group 25 in Namibia, which I have thoroughly enjoyed in 2005/6. Having always achieved high academic results, adding a WEALTH OF EXPERIENCE, I am a dedicated and committed worker. I am fully proficient in Afrikaans and English and proficient in Portuguese. One of my strengths lies in teaching creative writing, equipping me well to help learners to master that skill, to improve his English, History and other subject grades. I pride myself in excellent time management skills, good planning, organizational and interpersonal skills, especially in multicultural environments; and exercise good self-discipline. I hope my cover letter can testify of my communication skills, as well as just having completed a refresher Basic Counselling course and a First Aid course. I also have the ability to work well under pressure and against tight deadlines. I am computer literate, from time to time presenting Internet classes and briefly lectured Office Admin and Personal Assistant courses at Damelin College. I am supportive of continuous learning, thus I have completed certificates in TEFL, PASTEL v.4 & v.11, REAL ESTATE and a Basic CHEF Cooking Course.
