I am a Kenyatta University Graduate with a Bachelor of Education (science) with a major in mathematics. I have gained both Instructional and professional experience through employment for over three years in several senior schools in Kenya. I am a Gold Award winner in the National Allan Gray Entrepreneurship challenge as the top educator in teaching the entrepreneurship mindset to learners. I am a regional award winner for the best maths teacher in Ruiru Sub-county in the 2019 national exams. I am a passionate photographer and videographer running a photography brand Known as Alpha Shots Photography.

I am currently working at Nova Pioneer as a mathematics and physics learning facilitator. My major functions are:

i. Designing learning for the learners as well as preparing and delivering mathematics and Physics Lessons.

ii. Designing and delivering Entrepreneurship and Innovation lessons.

iii. Designing and delivering video editing lessons.

iv. Evaluating and reporting on the progress of an individual learner’s progress.

v. Patronize the Film and photography club.

I take pride in differentiating learning and try to support the struggling students. I can build a positive classroom culture and use praise, positive narration, and the least invasive methods of behavior redirection. In my class, I ensure that Students collaborate effectively in groups and are willing to risk it in class and celebrate each other.

I also possess the following key strengths for success in this position:

1. Communication: I have excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional yet friendly body language and the ability to adjust the skills to the needs of different students depending on their age, culture, ability, and learning style.

2. Confidence building: By nurturing positive thinking, acceptance, and self-discovery, I can boost the self-confidence of individual students regarding pursuing their dreams, goals, and developing talents and Gifts.

3. I have substantial knowledge of the Innovation and entrepreneurship process, which I have gained through training, teaching, and from the experience of being an entrepreneur.

4. Extensive knowledge and experience in video editing, video production, photography, photo-editing, and graphic design. I have advanced knowledge of creative media software, i.e Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe After effects.

Coupled with the above strengths and attributes like diplomacy, loyalty, and time consciousness, I believe I am prepared to make a strong and immediate impact on your Grades
