Besides being a teacher, I am also a Cambridge Assessment Examiner, attending CAIE's training workshops. This involves consistent enhancement of skills, thereby acquainting myself with the ever-changing and demanding IGCSE curriculum.
Furthermore,I have been homeschooling several IGCSE and IBDP students across the world, with a balanced approach of relating the contents of the class with real life.
I have been teaching students from 19 countries, thereby making me adept with IGCSE and IBDP curricula teaching for students from all backgrounds.
I use a friendly, student-centric approach to ensure that children feel at ease with learning. Since IGCSE and IBDP are very demanding in nature, I ensure children are not overwhelmed with learning as learning must be a fun-filled process, rather than being a merely boring and difficult journey.
I firmly believe in making learning easier for students by inculcating various teaching methodology and tailor my teaching style based on the unique requirements of each student. My pedagogy involves tailoring lessons as per individual learners’ pace. Students will be exposed to the the expectations of the board with special emphasis on correction of work, examplars, videos, past papers and other study material which I personally curate. I use a digital board to ensure a crisp and clear learning experience.
I have tutored and home-schooled several students who have secured A* and A grades in IGCSE. Several IBDP students have secured 6/7 and 7/7 under my guidance, with a 100% pass rate, so far.
I also design a "10 days Booster Course" for IGCSE, English and French, AS & A levels English and French and IBDP French Ab Initio board exam students who look for last minute Conceptual revision and clarification of doubts only.

Exceptional Tutor.
Shriya has been the French IGCSE tutor for both my daughters. She is fully invested in the student and is an expert in the subject. My elder daughter started with her very late. She was graded as A * in her final board exam. Shriya takes a personal interest and ensures she will take a disciplined and meticulous approach to help improve the grade. My younger daughter will have boards this year. Highly recommend.

The ULTIMATE teacher for IGCSE and A Level English and French
Review after A level exams 2022:
Ms. Shriya has been teaching our son since his IGCSE years and has continued until the end of his A level exams. I can proudly say that my son has scored 93 percentage in English, making him score the highest marks in his school, although Cambridge English is extremely difficult. He also scored 96 in French. We are beyond thankful for all her efforts. Blessed to have our son tutored by her.

Consider yourself lucky if you've come across Ms. Shriya. Hamza has scored A* ( A stars) in both, IGCSE English and French. Excellent IGCSE and AS level teacher for English
In Grade IX my son was really struggling in English and was not getting more than a D score. After Shriya started teaching him English, his scores started improving and got an A in the board exam.
She is still teaching my son english in A and AS level.
My son is really fortunate to get a teacher like Shriya.

Excellent IGCSE tutor
Shriya Ma'am tutors my son in IGCSE English. She is extremely hands on and has adapted herself to my son's learning level. Her focus is on practice which I think makes learning better. Always open to feedback and engaged. Thank you.

Excellent
Shriya is a wonderful teacher with a vibrant mindset and expertise on the subject and IGCSE curriculum. We have engaged her for English and French. She has a balanced approach to teaching. Shriya has improved my daughter's poor C grade in CIE checkpoint level drastically to grand ‘A’ grade in Cambridge IGCSE First Language English examination. Her one to one teaching sessions are a thorough confidence booster. I proudly see great confidence in my daughter's English language skills after going through vigorous and quite demanding learning for 15 months with Shriya. Her French teaching too of top notch as an A* final result indicates. Shriya truly dedicated, has all that takes to make bright career in teaching profession . Outstanding teacher
Shriya Rao is an outstanding teacher and over the past year she has helped my son improve in English language significantly. He is now able to perform much better in his IGCSE English exams. Amazing teacher
We have known Shriya for a long time. She helped both my kids with English IGCSE. She is a fantastic teacher who is a great listener and molds classes as per the students strengths and weakness. She is extremely patient and has immense knowledge on the English exam requirements for IGCSE and guides accordingly. Best IGCSE English and Economics teacher since 2 years.
Her teaching style is amazing and updated. She understands the student's requirements and needs very well. She taught IGCSE English and Economics to my daughter.
