I believe that a person transforms to a good teacher when he/she attains good education, and, he has a research perspective in teaching/knowledge transfer. I have completed my Masters (M.Tech) and Ph.D from IIT Guwahati, which is one of the premier institutes in the area of science and technology in India. I believe that I got a very good exposure in different areas such as Digital Signal Processing, Statistical Signal Processing, Image Processing, Analog and Digital Communications, Information Theory, Linear Algebra, and, Probability Theory and Random Processes etc., during my Masters and Doctoral programs at IIT Guwahati. Prior to joining the Masters program in 2009, I have been working as a digital hardware design engineer at a Bangalore based private company. My keen interest in academic jobs (teaching/research) drove me to quit the industry and proceed to pursue Masters and PhD programs. During my stay at IIT Guwahati, I had been working as a teaching assistant in several subjects that I have mentioned above. I am confident that I can be a good teacher, and I hope that my academic/industry experiences will be beneficial to the students.
