My self Kalakshetra Amritha Menon. Artistic Director and Founder of Kshetra Institute of fine arts PVT LTD( Head Office - Kshetra dance company, Croydon UK ). I started the dance life from age of 3 under the guidance of Grandfather ‘Late Gemini TR Gopalakrishnan Nair ( Disciple of the Legendary Udhayshankar ).
Teaching Bharathanatyam Including theory, for the last 9 years in Chennai, Singapore, and the USA. Well experienced in working on all standards. Especially in Kalakshetra style.

About the Institute:
Kshetra IFA is an established dance school in Chennai for the past 10 years and we are strictly following Kalakshetra Bani.

We are conducting Direct and Virtual classes.
We only teach Bharatanatyam, no classes for Mohiniyattam or Kuchipudi or Zumba, or any other form of dance.
We only teach the traditional/ conventional Bharatanatyam, we do not teach 10-minute varnams or prepare students for youth festivals.

We only take students above 5 years of age.
FOR ONLINE PLATFORM Only children over the age of 10 are taken to the group session. Children under the age of 10 can only be taken to a 1:1 session.

We are mostly focusing on Arangetram / and programs more than exams. But we will train all the syllabus if the students need to attend any exams like ISTD.

NO AGE RESTRICTION.
ONLINE CLASSES via ZOOM, GOOGLE MEET/HANGOUTS, AND SKYPE and the direct classes conducting on weekdays morning and evening also on weekends at Padhmanabhanagar, Adyar Chennai.

Please approach only if you're serious about learning and have enough patience to understand that learning the art form takes a few years.

Very professional and friendly teacher ever we met

The way Amritha mam teaches the children is excellent. My daughter is learning from Bangalore through online but never felt it so, as the classes are taken with very much personal attention. My daughter enjoys her classes and also she is feeling nice improvement after joining Kshetra Institute. We are actually looking forward for Grand Arangetram performance once she learns it perfect. I would definitely recommend more children to join the classes.
