Do you need to pass the OET or PLAB 2 in order to work as a healthcare professional abroad? I am an official OET preliminary provider who is highly skilled at teaching English as a second language (TESOL certified). I specialise in medical English and have helped countless doctors, nurses, and pharmacists pass the OET over the last several years. Furthermore, I have been an IELTS teacher since 2011, and I am also proficient at job interview preparation in healthcare fields along with work-related medical communication. Lastly, I can provide PLAB 2 speaking guidance and practice.

I assess every student individually so that I can create a customised Learning Plan for them. Students receive books, lesson reviews, plenty of homework and mock exams with feedback and corrections.

I have immensely enjoyed watching my students' lives change for the better after obtaining new opportunities from working or studying abroad. Because of my experience in ESP (English for Specific Purposes) and my motivation to help my students succeed, I believe that this makes me an excellent teacher.

    I am the head teacher of Focus Language Centre, where I recruit and teach OET, PLAB 2 and IELTS candidates who want to work or study in an English speaking country.
  • IELTS/OET Teacher (Sep, 2015–Nov, 2016) at PCQ Nursing reqruitment in Dublin
    I taught nurses and caregivers IELTS and OET online who were recruited by PCQ to work in Ireland and the UK.

    I taught IELTS/TOEFL to high school seniors for one school year so that they were eligible to study abroad in the UK, US, Canada and Australia.

Fee details

    €30–130/week (US$31.91–138.30/week)

    Each one-to-one class is held online Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm and costs £30/hour. Students also have the option of purchasing a package of 10 lessons in advance at a discounted rate of £26/hour (to be completed within six weeks) or 20 lessons at £22/hour (to be completed within three months).
