I have been learning yoga with Yashaswini from more than a year now. She is very thoughtful teacher who puts a lot of effort in designing the sequence for every individual. When I started I had severe back pain, leg pain and other issues due to sitting long hours in front of the computer . She has been very patient, in terms of working with me, giving right exercises and helping me to build my strength and stamina . Today I’m off the pain and am able to do good workouts . All the credit goes Yashaswini. Besides being a very dedicated and passionate teacher , she is good listener and an amazing person . She even taught yoga to my boys age 15 and 10. She used to start with a small light hearted conversation and gradually engage them in the classes, eventually get them to do it dedicatedly. She has made me fall in love with yoga and I plan to continue these classes as long as I can .

She is a gifted teacher. My daugher was struggling with Kannada and Hindi and she made a lot of difference. Now she is at a point where she can participate in class confidently and pretty much handle homework on her own. Yashaswini ma'am tailors the classes to suit the learner.

Yashaswini teaches Kannada to my 8 year old daughter and she loves the way Yashaswini teaches. She doesn’t get bored and looks forward to her weekend lessons. I totally recommend her.

I am so thankful to have found Yashaswini as a Kannada and Hindi teacher for my 6year old. As non natives of Karnataka, my daughter was struggling with Kannada. After we started having Yashaswinis classes, I have seen a complete U turn in not only her knowledge but also her attitude towards the language. Yashaswini is indeed a gifted teacher. We are grateful to Mrs. Yashaswini for her excellent Sloka instruction for our 6 year old in the US. Mrs. Yashaswini is very patient and precise to assist our daughter learn Slokas and Kannada as this is our daughter’s first time learning these.

Yashaswini Ma’am has been teaching Kannada to my 4th Grade daughter since the start of this academic year(2020-21). The classes began with the basic alphabet and using a systematic approach, within 2 months, my daughter is comfortable reading the language.
Ma’am is engaging in her lectures, keeps HW to a minimum. Her one on one lectures ensure all mistakes are caught and corrected plus the lectures are paced as per the child’s attention and ability.
As a parent, my worry on having to learn a language which is not our native tongue has completely gone. I trust my daughter is in safe hands with regard to progressing further in her Kannada studies.
Ma’am is kind hearted and there is a good rapport between her and my daughter now. My child feels at ease asking Q in class and even though we have not met in person yet, looks forward each week to her Kannada class !
I recommend Yashaswini Ma’am highly.

I have 6 year old daughter who was comfortable speaking in English. She had no prior knowledge on shlokas... now she has learnt shlokas with her and the most important thing is kids will learn with proper pronounciation . Yashaswini patiently corrects pronounciation multiple times until she gets it right. Very patient teacher .Within short span of 1 1/2 month my daughter will comfortably chant more than 10 shlokas ...Thank you Yashaswini for all the help .

Ms. Yashashwini is an excellent teacher. She has been teaching my 7 year old daughter and it has been a wonderful experience for us. My daughter looks forward to her classes and enjoys learning Kannada. Ms. Yashashwini is very hard working and puts in the time and effort in teaching her students. She is passionate about teaching and is very professional .I can already see the progress in my daughter since we started more than a month ago. I would definitely recommend her .

Yashaswini is a very good shloka teacher. She is been teaching my son Shlokas from 4 to 5 months. She has great knowledge about Shlokas and their meaning. She also has lot of patience when teaching kids. I would highly recommend her as a shloka teacher.

We engaged Yashaswini to teach Kannada to our 6-year-old (now 7). Teaching a 6-year-old a language that's not her first language, adopting the teaching technique based on what works for the kid, and engaging the kid for an hour every weekday is no small feat, and Yashaswini does a great job at it! Yashaswini is serious about teaching but she makes it engaging and fun for the kids. My daughter looks forward to the classes and we are extremely fortunate to have a teacher like Yashaswini for our daughter.

We started Kannada Language class for my 7 yr old son with Ms. Yashaswini.
In a few weeks, not only did my son develop an interest in the language but also started picking it up. I found him looking forward to the classes, doing assignments, taking tests and generally performing very well.... Kannada classes became a part of his daily routine.
Thats when we realised that its all because of the pedagogy she follows, the passion with which she teaches and the perfection she drives within her students.
The focus on concepts, coupled with poems and rhymes, daily speaking and writing, slowly building up on grammar and correct usage.... all of these necessary elements are very much there.
But what stood apart is her ability to inculcate interest and learnability in a seven year old boy for an unknown language.
I would certainly recommend her for anyone looking to learn the Kannada Language.

A good teacher always brings out the best from the student and drive them in a right path. Yashaswini is really experienced in the field of teaching. she teach the basics very good and it is easy for the kids to understand. The 60mins of teaching is always interactive and very clear plan on what to teach for the class and there is no jumping from here and there. The flow is unstoppable!!
I am really happy to have her as a teacher for my son. Highly recommended !!!

Well structured teaching method starting from fundamentals of grammar & verbs with accent on speaking the language at your own pace .. very good thorough approach .. also a very nice individual with a sense of humour .. if you want to learn Kannada she is the Best teacher !!

Yashaswini B R is always totally switched on for all the 60 minutes of each session. She is a natural teacher and has a very clear and concise manner of explanation. she is thorough and systematic in his teaching, though also has a great sense of humour. Non of your mistakes will go unnoticed!

When we decided to move from USA to India our biggest concern was our daughter's Kannada proficiency. We were very skeptical in trying online classes thinking it would never work. But, 10 months ago, we decided to give it a try and signed up for online classes with Mrs.Yashaswini. Since then, the progress my daughter has made in Kannada is simply unbelievable. Mrs.Yashaswini is an excellent teacher with right skills and techniques to make online teaching very effective. She has tremendous patience and keeps kids engaged by encouraging them throughout the class. She is very flexible in terms of class schedule which is very important when dealing with 11.5 hr time difference. I can continue on highlighting her positives...but the bottom line is we are very happy with her teaching and highly recommend her.

She is an amazing yoga instructor and especially the way she chants shlokas are really mesmerizing and my kids really enjoy her yoga classes and also they show great interest in learning shlokas from yashaswani mam.
