Before I approached NK, I had already taken preliminary coaching and tutoring for the exam. I knew what I needed; and to that extent I did not come in blind into the tutoring session. Due to this background, I knew what I wanted and needed a tutor who is a specialist for this exam and this exam only! :-) (Only a specialist can go deeper!) I actively stayed away from those who are part time tutors or the ones who teach multiple exams! This is where NK fit in perfectly for me!
I feel a good tutor must understand my need and put me on the optimum path! I wanted a tutor who taught me every nuance! He himself should believe in the answers that are coming along! (I did not want a tutor who was teaching questions after having known the answer and then trying hard to fit an explanation! This is called confirmation bias and some also call this hindsight bias. This happens a lot in this space. I observed the same in the answers being provided to most questions on the popular discussion forums! )
I needed more fine tuning on some aspects of my prep. Above all I needed a mentor who will guide me in things beyond just the routine preparation. I can say this mentoring and guidance is very crucial. As Mr NK repeatedly said getting that “aptitude test mindset” is essential. He exhorted me to be “Friends with the exam” and “not battle against the test creator”!
With curated study material I was cajoled into developing logical thinking and critical reasoning; this was pivotal in me becoming confident in getting a perfect score in that segment. He held online tutoring sessions in which he and his colleagues were present. They assisted me with the right approach to grammar of the language. The mastery over “Semantics” and “Syntax” in his own words was very essential. I learnt some nifty ideas with regards to approaching Reading Comprehension. Increasing reading speed and improving comprehension became a breeze with his “Improving Reading Techniques” session.
Now after an intense twelve weeks, I am already getting more confident in getting an elite score; the objective is to be in the upper ranges of the ninetieth percentile scale. I have already taken three Full Length Mock Tests. I have not got my desired score yet. The improvement looks more realistic and pragmatic from here on.

My Background : I work in a fast growing segment in the megalithic Outsourcing /BPO sector.

In the consultation session, I learned about the admission process, fee structure, opportunities and some other important factors that are crucial to have a clear picture of getting into some of the Top International Universities.
I have come across many key points during the presentation which I was not aware of previously but as I have the guidance now, I think the path ahead of me will be easier than I thought it would be!
After the consultation, I was given an essay to write, which at first was not perfectly written by me. Many mistakes were made by me. Once I was done writing, I was explained what all the errors are and how not to make the same errors in the future.

Got a very good understanding of how the application process works. The consultant helped me in understanding the important points to focus on. This teacher knows what he is doing! He can connect with a student in no time! I am in the USA and needed a decent tutor. I spoke to him just once and instantly booked the session! No regrets! I am trying for Masters programs in Canada. For GMAT Verbal I had originally connected with the tutor but later realized that GRE is more of my thing. I got amazing guidance from the Prof on how to apply and get the best out of the application process. He has also given me bonus guidance on how to land a training and internship opportunity after admission. Most importantly the tutor was able to successfully restore my faith on how to become able to clear the Verbal section of the GRE. Have already finished the initial 6 paid evaluation sessions from the Prof Nilesh Kumar Y C K. These sessions have been helpful in evaluating myself and to evaluate the parts of the test as well. I am about to begin my studies in full seriousness and will soon appear for the exam. I hope to crack it! Wish me luck!

This super teacher has been very diligent, pleasant and deeply insightful of the subjects that are taken up for teaching purpose. I took up the services during the pandemic in 2020 for GRE for which I have got a very good score as of now (as I write this). I found this super tutor to be professional and available even at the last minute! I got lucky I guess to find him here in my budget. Have got all the right help with my standardised test preparation. Highly recommended! :-)

Didn't find it apt

Because the tutor teaches the subject right from basics, the learning becomes very lucid! His own knowledge of various languages across geographies seems to be deep and insightful. He is fluent in several languages as well! Eg I am in a Latin American Country. He connected damn well!

These aspects make him a great teacher who can teach difficult subjects. Do note that learning the nuances can make all the difference. He has taught me both Verbal and Quant for my standardized aptitude test!

We were looking for a tutor for management aptitude test preparation. Had a tight timeline. Luckily We found this highly rated tutor. I had a great time learning concepts using a very unique approach! It was quite a beautiful experience! Very refreshing! Easy to remember new things!"

This teacher has been absolutely fantastic with education and counseling that we as a family did for both our children. Always approachable, honest, sincere and relentless in gently pushing the student towards academic success! We were looking for a high quality tutor regardless of the price point; no point in compromising for a few bucks. So we asked around and got several people in our social circle. Three out of the dozen suggested this website and two even suggested this trainer. Considering the city lock-down situation, we plan to continue with this gem of a trainer that we have found!
