Lalitha Music Academy is one of the best academies in Hyderabad and with the best teacher that there can be Ms. Uma Kuchibotla.
Hailing from a family that has learned and taught music for generations on end, Ms. Uma has been able to devise new techniques and create her own nuances within the world of Carnatic music carving a niche for her own self and a great opportunity for her students.
She is extremely soft-spoken and that is reflected in her way of teaching too, even as she holds a masters degree in Carnatic Music, she believes in teaching students in a holistic manner helping them to recognize their potential with her own techniques and reciprocating from what the students want to know and are interested in, for till when people are taught music in the most organic ways, it would be a cakewalk to finish courses after courses and this is our principle in the academy.
The results show for themselves, be it for singers or those pursuing academics in music studies, when many of her students have gone on to first be learning fellows with top music artists and then later fantastic artists by themselves, her quality of achieving as much and still choosing to stay under the radar stands out. Strives for students success

Uma ma’am is extremely experienced and soft spoken, but she will make sure all her students learn well. She makes sure we practice what we learned in previous class and considers our requests if we wish to learn a particular song. I had a good experience learning under Uma ma’am and recommend her for anyone who wishes to learn music.

Very knowledgeable and experienced

Uma Garu is very knowledgeable and experienced and it’s definitely worth trying her for Carnatic music. She is so patient with the kids and my daughter loves her.

Uma Ma'am is friendly and lovely person. She understands my needs well.

She teaches every topic with lot of patience and repeat number of times if we are not clear. She adjusts her class schedules according to our timings and is flexible to change without any difficulty. She teaches theory of each lesson before starting the practice. She teaches the meaning and importance of songs we are learning.

Perfect Teacher!!

I'm very much interested in learning music but was not sure which to select and how to plan inspite of my busy schedule, also, staying abroad. It's then I found this Academy online. Uma garu made it easy for me and is also very flexible with respect to my schedule. Being a beginner I don't have any clue about music but she was very patent in teaching me without missing any technicalities. Though she has a flow in her teaching still she just doesn't go to next level until she fell that you are perfect with what you are learning. I'm very happy with her teaching and my progress. Looking forward for many more years ?

She’s is excellent tutor...

Iam so happy..I found very good tutor. She has very good knowledge in music. I have been learning music from last six months.she encourages me a lot. She’s teaching also be very friendly not like a strict maths teacher( my maths teacher in school).she is strict... but that’s a different way..
