Rasmita Sahoo Physics

I have completed my Ph.D. in Physics from BITS, Pilani, Rajasthan. My research area includes carbon nanotube and its application in carbon nanotube field effect transistor (CNTFET). We have also developed some model equations for CNTFET which got published in IOP journal (IOP Conf. Series: Materials Science and Engineering). Now I am continuing my research with the application of CNTFET in digital circuits. Based on this work we have published a paper in IEEE transaction on Nanotechnology. I have also completed three online courses with best grades on basics of nanoelectronics and nanotransistors offered online by faculties of Purdue University . I have 7 journal publications and 13 conference papers.

I have total 10+ years of teaching experience which includes three years of post Ph.D experience. Apart from this I used to take some tutorials and labs at BITS, Pilani during my Ph. D time. According to me, teaching is a two way process and hence I prefer student-centered teaching that encourages learning by both students and teachers. I used to encourage the students to develop working models for better understanding.
